I've noticed some logs have recently got redirected to an imaginary character called \"spell\", and some to \"unknown\".

Also, I'll let you know about an old bug (though you may have fixed it in the last patch) - once in a while the level printed on the character sheet is in the 30,000 range - but a reload of the backup log files usually fixes that.

I think your first issue is related to the change from server number to server name in the log file name. I have been working on it but haven't had as much time as I would like to dedicate to it. Look for the update soon though.
