Ok - might be silly, retro, gay, whatever... but if you could truly go back to 1999 in EQ - Death means horrible corpse recovery... campers, kill stealing... - would you?

Don't forget the fun part of getting killed at level 2 and not getting out of the newbie area for a month.

Psha! Running to the guards was the best.

The down side is that there 'are' players in the game, but since it's been up so long, they have moved on from the newbie area, WOOOO, but now you have to navigate the newbie area like it was a land mine area.

Leveling was good once you got some levels under you. I buffed my wife in Nektulos and she ran around like a chicken and everything killed themselves on her and she would get 3 levels just in the corner of the zone at the Kobold camps. And the Oompa Loompas from Rivervale. Same up in the other corner with the undead by lava storm.

Very nostalgic.

They are opening Ragefire server today.

It is a progression server, at least 6 months between expansions in the beginning.
